Winberries

I grew up and was born in Oak Park. This restaurant has helped me celebrate birthdays, baptisms, weddings, and the life of those lost after funerals. Winberries has the atmosphere of Oak Park in one building. Oak Park is reminiscent of the family big city life which is much more than your typical suburb, but it also feels very close to family as well. This is how Winberries feels as well. We brought our 4 and 5 year old there this weekend. Not only is Winberries across from the beautiful Scoville Park, where many congregate and gather, but it also is in the heart of the "downtown" area. They are a little bit on the pricier side, but it is well worth it! The kids got delicious and creative meals with dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and a big pizza, but ALSO ice cream after! We grown ups, had very satisfying meals as well. I had a tuna salad sandwich which was huge and very filling (your typical American sandwich) and my man got a Pork Jambalaya! He said it was the best meal he has had at a restaurant in a long time. I am pretty certain that he licked the plate while I wasn't looking. Like I said you could easily take the kids here and come for a casual beer and dinner AND the inside is fancy and beautiful so after event socials could also take place here. Winberries is definitely a gem of Oak Park!

Eu cresci e nasceu em Oak Park. Este restaurante tem me ajudado a celebrar aniversários, baptizados, casamentos e a vida daqueles perdido após os funerais. Winberries tem a atmosfera de Oak Park em um edifício. Oak Park é uma reminiscência da vida da cidade grande família que é muito mais do que o seu subúrbio típico, mas também se sente muito perto da família também. Esta é a forma como se sente Winberries bem. Nós trouxemos nossos 4 e 5 anos esta semana. Não só é Winberries em frente ao belo Scoville Park, onde muitos se reúnem e se reúnem, mas também está no coração da área de "centro". Eles são um pouco sobre o lado mais caro, mas vale bem a pena! As crianças tem deliciosas e criativas refeições com forma de dinossauros nuggets de frango e uma grande pizza, mas também sorvete depois! Nós crescido ups, tivemos refeições muito gratificante também. Eu tinha uma salada de atum sanduíche que era enorme e muito recheio (um típico sanduíche americano) e meu homem tem um porco Jambalaya! Ele disse que era a melhor refeição que ele teve em um restaurante em um longo tempo. Estou bastante certo de que ele lambeu a placa enquanto eu não estava olhando. Como eu disse que você poderia facilmente levar as crianças aqui e venha para uma cerveja casual e jantar e o interior é extravagante e bonita assim depois socials de evento também poderia ter lugar aqui. Winberries é definitivamente uma jóia de Oak Park!
