Lautrecs Tapas & Wine Bar

While walking through Kilkenny, you become lost in the medieval style of this adorable town. You are swallowed up by the true Irish feel of the place. Everything about this town makes me feel as if I am intruding into another period in time and am not in the proper attire. Leave it up to Kilkenny to surprise you while walking around. Just when it felt as if the cobblestones and stone plaques could not get more old period style, we fell onto this street with this amazing piece of graffiti art. It was a painting of a women in all white....claimed to be a witch....and floating. But it looked as if she were being burned at the stake if you step a couple steps back. Keep your eyes open. Kilkenny may just surprise you! Well in taking those couple of steps back, we fell into Lautrecs. A beautiful and cozy Tapas and Wine restaurant. My mom is a vegan and tapas are a great opportunity (especially in Ireland) to find dishes she would be able to enjoy. They even had designated vegan dishes! We had an assortment of dishes that were amazing. Between marinated olives, homemade hummus, homemade sweet-chili chicken pizza (for me) and sweet potato wedges we were in heaven. It was such a great assortment of flavors and a great feel of Spanish cuisine...in taking a strange twist from this authentic medieval Kilkenny day.

Enquanto passeava por Kilkenny, você tornar-se perdido no estilo medieval desta cidade adorável. Você está engolido pela verdadeira sensação irlandesa do lugar. Era uma pintura de uma mulher em todo o branco .... afirmou ser uma bruxa .... e flutuante. Mas era como se ela estivesse sendo queimado na estaca se você pisar alguns passos para trás. Mantenha seus olhos abertos. Kilkenny pode apenas surpreendê-lo! Bem em tomar os dois passos para trás, nós caiu em Lautrecs. A bela e aconchegante tapas e restaurante vinho. Minha mãe é um vegan e tapas são uma grande oportunidade (especialmente na Irlanda) para encontrar pratos que ela seria capaz de desfrutar. Eles ainda tinha designado pratos vegetarianos! Tivemos uma variedade de pratos que foram incrível. Entre as azeitonas marinadas, Homus, doce caseiro chili frango pizza (para mim) e fatias de batata doce estávamos no céu. Foi uma grande variedade de sabores e uma grande sensação da cozinha espanhola ... em tomar uma torção estranha de este autêntico dia Kilkenny medieval.
