Kirula Restaurant

Kirula Restaurant is a small fast-food restaurant located on the main road in Dambulla. If you take the local bus to Dambulla, it's just a few doors down from where the bus stops on the same side of the street. Kirula is basically a local fast food restaurant serving simple but fresh food in generous portions at local prices. If you're looking for elaborate curries, printed menus, and tablecloths, you can probably find that in Dambulla but Kirula is definitely not the place. Here, they serve one plate a day, usually either Sri Lankan-style fried rice, rice and curry, or noodles, and what you get depends on the day that you're there. We ordered the rice with chicken and got literal mountains of fried rice (Sri Lankans are not stingy with their starches) with fried chicken drumsticks, small side salads of fresh vegetables, and some seriously fiery chilis. To drink, you basically have tea, water, and a small selection of soft drinks. I don't remember the price, but it was somewhere in the 1-2.00 euro range for the entire meal. It's not the best food in town, but if you've just gotten off a local bus need to fill you belly quick, it hits the spot!

Kirula é basicamente um restaurante de fast food que serve comida simples, mas fresco em porções generosas a preços locais. Se você está procurando curries elaborados, menus impressos, e toalhas de mesa, provavelmente você pode descobrir que, em Dambulla, mas Kirula não é definitivamente o lugar. Aqui, eles servem um prato por dia, geralmente ou Sri Lanka estilo arroz frito, arroz e curry, ou macarrão, eo que você recebe depende do dia que você está lá. Pedimos o arroz com frango e tem montanhas literais de arroz frito (Sri Lanka não são mesquinho com seus amidos) com baquetas de frango frito, pequenas saladas de vegetais frescos, e alguns chilis sério de fogo. Para beber, você tem basicamente chá, água, e uma pequena selecção de refrigerantes. Eu não me lembro o preço, mas foi algures no intervalo 1-2,00 euro para toda a refeição. Não é a melhor comida da cidade, mas se você tiver acabado de descer uma necessidade ônibus local para enchê-lo de barriga rápida, que atinge o local!
