Hooper Park

This photo is definitely NOT Hooper Park. It's likely the Davis side of Hooper somewhere, but definitely NOT HOOPER PARK! Hooper Park is wonderful though, it's a very old park that's been there for at leat 100 years, with many large old trees to shade it and a recent overhaul of the playground area. The bowery is still the old one with a kitchen and large seating area that's about as old as the park. The old restroom building is also very old, as is the first Hooper church house across the street and the old cultural hall that has the old basketball court and stage inside. Newcomers to Hooper call it the 'White Building' but the original Hooperites know it's the cultural hall. The park also has an old rodeo ground that's been updated with nicer benches and fencing, as well as ticket booths and trees.

Hooper Park é maravilhoso, porém, é um parque muito antigo que já esteve há quase 100 anos, com muitas grandes árvores antigas para sombra e uma revisão recente da área de recreação. O bowery ainda é o antigo com uma cozinha e área de estar grande que é tão antigo quanto o parque. O antigo prédio dos banheiros também é muito antigo, assim como a primeira casa da igreja Hooper do outro lado da rua e o antigo salão cultural que tem a antiga quadra de basquete e estágio dentro. Os recém-chegados a Hooper chamam isso de "Edifício Branco", mas os Hooperites originais sabem que é o salão cultural. O parque também tem um antigo terreno de rodeio que foi atualizado com bancos e cercas mais agradáveis, bem como cabines e árvores.
